The Sentinel: a high-quality brand
It is safe to say that we at Transgroom are really pleased to announce that we are the exclusive distributor of The Sentinel. It is an indispensable brand for those who strive for perfection when grooming their dog’s coat. Thanks to the high quality, there is no hair breakage and what’s more important, you have the tool to be perfectly prepared. We are sure that you too are or will be a big fan of The Sentinel hand stripping knives and here’s why. If you have a dog with a hand-stripping or wiry coat such as most Spaniels, Setters, Schnauzers and most Terrier breeds, then hand stripping is the best way to groom. These coats have two types of hair: a soft and dense undercoat and a long and dense topcoat. By hand stripping, you remove the topcoat to reveal the dense, soft undercoat. This allows the new coat to grow and lets the skin breathe. The result: a natural, shiny and healthy coat.
